Ahh excellent more Felicia Day in my life is a good thing. I'm a big NPH fan, How i met your mother is an extraordinarily average show but NPH and Jason Segal make it worth watching. Nathan Fillion pretty much gets an automatic pass of awesome in almost anything he does now *cough* Desperate Houswives*cough*. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Ive watched or at least listened in the background the first act about 10 times now ...
I can't wait for act 2, I thought act 1 was fucking fantastic

As someone who is not obsessed with Joss Whedon I have to say that I LOVED the first episode of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It's fantastic. Neil Patrick Harris does indeed bring the funny.

Act 2 is even funnier than act one. Fillion makes the perfect ham.

Dunno. I think I might have found it more original if I hadn't seen the Venture Brothers.

Songs are catchy, yeah...meh. I know this was done on the super cheap and fly, but I'm just not impressed.

I haven't seen ep.2 yet, but I enjoyed the first one. Didn't bowl me over, but it was goofy and fun, and that's really all I'm looking for. As the FB's resident Whedon virgin, I didn't come into it with any expectations.

I am digging it so far. The needless punchline in the laundromat in Act 2 was done in true Whedon style. I love it.

Yep, ep.2 *DID* bowl me over!! The sneer at the start of "Brand New Day" was perfect, and the song itself just...fits. Now I'm upset that there's only one installment left!

That was one of my many problems. It was presented as this light and airy good time, that all the actors had fun and it was all jokey joke, and yet, the last act, they still have "funny" shit going on when it's all "drama drama". Imagine if funny things happened during

During Buffy, if when Anya died, Andrew ran away and tripped. Or if Buffy tripped when she went under Spike's necklace beam. Or in Angel if Wesley made a joke when Fred died.TYPE SPOILER TEXT HERE

They have Cap Hammer yelling for his mommy and writhing at a shrink, and Doc Horrible spell checking his name for a journalist. If you want to do tragic in a drama like say, Buffy or Angel or Serenity, then by all means. But not here. It's logically and creatively inconsistent.

I have to say, the third act is by far the best. It was funnier and dramatic and all the songs were awesome. That last beat was just fantastic. What a great origin story, self-contained but open enough to lead on to something else.

I knew Nathan Fillion was good, but stealing scenes from NPH is a hard thing to do. I heart Captain Hammer.
