I'm sure Joel will be posting on here soon enough to make the announcement, but the sooner everyone hears about it, the sooner everyone (not least of all Joel himself) can breathe easier that HE won't be going anywhere. If you haven't donated yet, please consider it. Compare a $5-$10 monthly donation to some of the other entertainment options out there and I think Hijinks Ensue compares very favorably. It's a single movie ticket per month, half of an MMORPG subscription, less than 2 Blockbuster rentals (remember those?), one Starbucks a week, etc. Isn't it worth it, considering that you are already getting multiple comics per week, the blog and reader comment accompaniment, about 10 hours a month of podcasts/vidcasts, and countless hours of mayhem in these forums? By donating, you also get Vault access, which has some very entertaining stuff and is being added to pretty frequently. Here is Joel's post on the comic site.
