Trying to post a new comment but it disappears
  • lardboylardboy August 2008

WTF I've been trying to post a question / suggestion for episode 26 but I log in post the question it looks like it's been added to the bottom of the list then I refresh and it disappears.

    Any help?

EDIT > OK so I editted the comment I'd already made (which I should have been doing from the start but didn't realise you could edit after somebody else had commented) and the edit stuck. Are we limited to 1 post each on the question list or something?

No idea what this is about. No one else has reported problems.

I'm having no luck with HE at the moment :(

I got all the comments via email but they dont show up on the site. FYI is not HE its Intense Debate. Comments live on their servers. I know they are doing some upgrades right now, but I would flush your browser cache and restart your machine.

I'm having problems with disappearing comments again and now I'm also seeing multiple reposted comments for instance all of Joels replys to the LHC comic comments are showing as reposts by hijinksensue but as a guest (grey) one after another in between FrakTruck's 2H1BH comment and Troy's Taco Bell comment.

We can't rule out that Drew travelled back to January 1, 1970 and posted a message on a server that didn't yet exist. Maybe the punchcards were stuck under somebody's 8-track collection.

Just a reminder, folks: only 29 1/2 years left until the end of time.

Man I wish they'd just end it already, I'm getting tired of updating my calendar.

Psh. By my figuring, we only have about four years left.

Ah yes, you expect the coming of Quetzalcoatl, or as some know him UltraMegaChicken. I respect that. As for me, I only worship the land and the C. Also C++.

Has this thread been sufficiently derailed yet?

Bill could also be referring to the completion of SkyNet (it's actually called Pleiades, but we know what they're REALLY doing). 10 petaflops => becomes self-aware?
