    Ok, so it's been out like, what, a week or two? Someone on here has seen it, probably twice. Most likely on opening night. Somebody had to like it.


    I want to know if there is ANYTHING redeemable about this looks-like-total-shit film to make me want to plunk down $10.50 and see it.

    Also, it's great comic fodder for Joel. All hail Massa Jar Jar, "Ah So!" Nute Gunray, and Gayba the Hutt.

    Admittedly i haven't seen it, but none of the previews, reviews, screens have compelled me in the slightest to bother with it. The prequels have tainted the entire clone wars era for me and they'd have to do something pretty spectacular to capture my interest again. Between Crystal Skull and this mess it's pretty clear George Lucas has lost his fucken mind. I didn't think it'd be possible for anyone to create a character ever in the span of the rest of my years that'd make me think to myself "Wow, Jar Jar seems pretty reasonable now." but Lucas topped himself with a goddamned stereotypical flaming gay Hutt, who speaks english for fucks sake.

    So.....no one's seen it?


    I guess I'll just have to take my friend's word. He saw it at Siggraph and gave it the MST3K treatment. Said it was pretty good that way.

    Said the padawan sucked major Mary Sue balls. Said there was a gay Hutt. Said the theater was mostly empty. And that was enough.


    I was actually really disappointed. The head writer was one of the guys who worked on Dexter, which was amazing. But alas! My dreams of another series as good as Tartakovsky's was ground under a white plastic boot.

    Can I convince you to NOT see it?

    it's especially sad that a few of the better Star Wars games feature not only significantly deeper stories, but also superior CGI, meaning that both this project's film and video game predecessors have already done better.

    I would totally go see a Lego Star Wars movie. I'd probably be all cutesied out, but I'd go see that before Clone Wars.
