I just picked up the new Brothers in Arms game and I have to say that all of you at Gearbox who worked on it did a great job. I love playing a war game that has me developing strategies instead of just rushing head first killing Nazi's and has a story that is mature and treats the war and soldiers with respect.
My favorite part of the game I've played so far isSpoilers (highlight to read) when I reach the church and have to take out the sniper. At first I thought, "Fuck another confined church segment in a video game." The way it is set up is much more fast paced and fun than I thought it would be. Running from cover spot to cover spot with only one soldier backing me up is the most fun I've had in a church in a video game ever. I also love the fact that I can shoot a Nazi hiding behind a wooden pew by shooting the pew.
I'm really looking forward to playing through the rest of the game over the next few days. -

And that is who exactly? What do they look like? Actually, that's a pretty redundant question because 'rugged and brown haired' applies to everyone but Red. But yes, I've spent every cut-scene going: "Is this Joel now? No! Dammit..." -

I want to know who decided on the fuck crazy achievements. Play on a certain date (Already passed due to delays), play for a certain amount of days, play every day for 3 months all while connected to xbox live. I fucken hate that about achievements, what if xbox live goes down (coming into christmas highly possible) all achievements should be possible to get with the contents purchased with the game and not rely on something the developer/publisher can't guarantee, i just think that's retarded.

Already happened last week so they could do the update thing. Some of the achievements seem to be a punishment for achievement whores, which amuses me. I'd still rather the points be "available" (I know they technically are, but...) to regular gamers, but it is amusing enough for me to not mind so much.Posted By: Ferroswhat if xbox live goes down -

A very valid point. I finished the game and I can safely say that while I loved it I won't be playing it every day for 100 days. -
So I'm more then a year behind, but I really am enjoying this game!
