Greetings, my fellow Bastards.
Tonight I had a rare chance at a brush with minor fame.
JOHN HODGMAN, Former Professional Literary Agent and Professional Writer, AKA "The Deranged Millionaire", held a talk/book signing at Borders Store #1...
...and just my luck, said location was very nearby and accessible to me.
So it came to pass that at 7:00 PM I was seated in one of many plastic chairs arrayed near the cookbooks section on the second floor of the bookstore, waiting for the Daily Show's Resident Expert to appear.
And appear he did.
...
I cannot describe the experience, as I am yet struggling to process it in my own mind. Suffice it to say my head nearly sharksploded with awesomeness.
It has however been lightly documented by me in digital photographic form. When said photographs have found their merry way to the vast Intertrons, I will gladly grace you with a Universal Resource Locator by which you may view them.
That is all.
For now.
Godspeed, you.
IMPORTANT UPDATE.
Please receive this linkage to the Book of Faces. Behind it lies a collection of images from the above-mentioned event.
Here there be photographs
dude that's crazy...
when i saw Bruce Campbell this weekend someone asked him he went about getting a book deal for his book. he said that he didn't look for one but was approached by John Hodgman. everyone just kinda sat there until Bruce said "oh you might know him as the PC guy"
that is awesome you got to seem him....and that you spotted Machine Girl
Yay! Eli commented on my thread!
re: Bruce Campbell, one of Hodgman's post-signing from-the-bar tweets mentioned him. Kind of a coincidence there... I guess.
I thought about buying Machine Girl, but $20 seemed a bit much... I could almost reshoot it for that kind of money.
But, yeah... I'm going to link this for next podcast's discussion. You guys'd better mention me! >:3
Jon Hodgman used to be a literary agent, so that might be how he and Bruce met.
Gneekman, this was today? Or was this in the NYC B and N a few days ago with JoCo?
Side note: I met Hodgman at a JoCo concert after the show. Shocked to see him out of character and unsuited.

I don't know, the electronics and parts for the "special bra" are almost never on sale.
