Seriously c'mon, what the fuck! This series died a perfectly acceptable death, they ran the hell out of ideas and now they're just going to start again. Everyone knows the only real way to continue this series is to pit Freddy against an increasingly silly and implausible set of well loved horror villians. We started with Jason, go Hellraiser next and don't stop until we're into Abbott and Costello meet the Dream Master territory. -
I can't say I've ever actually seen any of the Nightmare on Elm st. movies but I know of their role in the horror genre and of course Hollywood has to go and milk it for all it's worth although that cow has been long dead.
