I decided to get stoned beforehand....THAT was weird.

Otherwise, it was a good holiday. I got to see my grandparents, I got useful gifts, I got fun gifts, everyone was happy.

Morning was awesome anyway, I got a professional snow cone machine with two quarts of syrup (1 quart of Root Beer and 1 quart of who the fuck cares I have Root Beer syrup). Fair food appliances last three holidays in a row; my family knows me. Seeing my mom's expression at realizing what her first mp3 player ever could do was great too. Rest of the day was less perfect, but it added up to a pretty damned decent holiday. Big ups for Saturnalia. Hoping y'all had a decent time too!

I realized last night that this was the first Christmas in about 25 years (whatever year I got the Atari 2600) that I did *NOT* get a video game for Christmas. I purposely didn't ask for any games, since I still have a few to finish (Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Oblivion, and I'm ashamed to say Bioshock) and a few "non-ending" games in heavy rotation (Rock Band and Left 4 Dead). It was still odd to come to that realization though.
