I've struggled with this since day one. Early on I settled for "Geek Comic" because it was short, simple and true. Now I feel it doesnt properly communicate to a new reader what HE is about.

I have themes in mind, but no taglines or slogans are jumping out at me. Here are the ideas I want to get across:

    geeks
    fandom
    humor
    comic

    More specific:

    Obsessive fandom
geeking for the sake of geekery
    geek culture
    geek community
"the geek shall inherit the earth" and similar ideals

    I want to downplay:

    tech
    computers
    gaming

Because, while partially accurate, I dont think those ideas communicate HE very well.

A while back, I came up with the term "fanuerysm" and havent really used it. I wouldnt mind integrating that into the tagline. Something like "HijiNKS Ensue gave me a faneurysm" or "Just beyond fandom, there's faneurysm" (which doesnt make sense, but you see where Im going)

Please post your ideas with the knowledge that I need something that will go well on TShirts, the banner of the site, promo materials, etc.

    Thanks!

    Joel

"The geek shall inherit the rest"

Hijinks Ensue. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and geekery. We must be cautious.

    or, more simply:

These aren't the geeks you're looking for.

That's cool, too. I'm always torn between short and sweet versus longer and more descriptive.

    I'm leaning toward something like

"Caution: Over Geeking May Lead to Faneurysm"

but that doesnt really roll off the tongue. The idea is right but the wording is muddy.

I used it for the cards just so I would have something for Webcomics Weekend. I am still open to suggestions.
