Posted By: RerunI just rewatched Good Will Hunting and Finding Forrester. Incredible movies...
Posted By: John DarcSo, is this for fun, or is this like, a job? What are you trying to achieve with this?
I guess my real question is, how do you sit around so much and watch so many movies?Move over, bananas! I've got a new source of potassium!

Posted By: John DarcIsn't there ever a time where you go "I do not wish to see this film. I do not wish to give it a chance, for it can only end in heartbreak."?
In unrelated news, I saw Better Luck Tomorrow and Darjeeling Limited today. I guess I should start my list for the year. We have to have seen the whole movie, right? Or at least "FEEL" that we saw the whole film?Move over, bananas! I've got a new source of potassium!
Posted By: NeonDemonIm alittle late to the game, just joined the forums. but i have a couple recommendations for under watched and unknown movies.: "Brick" and "the man from earth"
Posted By: larnsturtIf you like pretty movies, I have a few to recommend.
Mongolis slow, but so very, very beautiful. It's subtitled, though, so be sure to watch it on something other than an iPod.Rob Royhas one of the best sword fights I've ever seen in a film and also shows off Scotland at its most wonderful. It's also on Hulu right now, so catch it if you can.The Black Stallionwill make you want a horse, even if you've never even ridden one. You'll feel like you, too, have galloped bareback on the beach.
If you're into French films, I must recommendBabette's Feast, but don't watch it when you're hungry, or you'll end up pigging out. Also, Krzysztof Kieslowski's Three Colors Trilogy:Blue,White, andRed. Very visceral films, especiallyBlue. Not exactly feel-gooders, but good films none the less.
Luck with the movie quest. It sounds like fun.

Oh, on the subject of pretty movies, see Aronofsky's 'The Fountain' it's kind of a mind fuck initially but it's really good/beautiful...

It's a good one, but I don't think it's his first talkie.Modern Timeswas the film when the Tramp first spoke, and that was in 1936. Chaplin was being leaned on by the studio to speak, so when the Tramp finally did, it was complete gibberish. It's also one of his best films. I highly recommend adding it to the list.
Posted By: tool212000I know its not February anymore but I'm just discovering this forum and I have all kinds of movies to suggest.
