This is a list of all the Inside Jokes FBs have produced over the years that I know of, along with their origins and, if known, their originator. This isn't a strict list, and there are certainly others out there. Facts may be somewhat innacurate. To clarify, these are jokes made by the fans and NOT Joel or the other cast members. For the most part they have nothing to do with the site itself, but are worthy of note here as they all occurred within the well-trampled circles of the community, and are known, for the most part, only to Fbs. I don't know all of the authors, so please reply or tweet me if it's you. Please add to this list by commenting. Feel free to copy and share the list as you wish.
“This is _____ in Japan”
-Origin: During the first ever FB chat during Joel's Birthday Bash/Shitty Movie Night in 2008, the phrase was used to parody the ridiculous antics within Machine Girl, a film which provided a large portion of the evening's entertainment.
-Detail: The blank in the formula is most often replaced with the name of a television network or program, such as the History Channel, the Food Network, HGTV, or Fox News. Other objects may historically be injected however, provided they are hilarious. Examples include: Gym Class, the electoral system, a family reunion, a passionate goodnight kiss, a Hanes Comfort Bra, etc.

#Thingaboutdicks
-Origin: During a HijiNKS Ensue Podcast-Vidcast-Simulcast-Castcast the remark “You said a thing about dicks” popularized itself as a more direct alternative to “That's what she said”. Later, an FB formalized the joke with this hashtag on Twitter to mark tweets of a phallic nature.
-Details: The tag is still in use today, as is the plain expression. Due to the popularity of the Hashtag format, #Thingaboutdicks is often used as an abbreviation even outside of Twitter (such as in the castcast chat or on the forums) bringing the process full-circle.

“The Island is a metaphor for _______”
-Origin: An impromptu chat session for Fbs was organized on Twitter to discuss an episode of Lost as it was airing (This happens with some frequency, and also applies to Dollhouse when the Castcast schedule does not overlap). The author didn't follow Lost, so instead injected wild speculation into the nature of the Island during the conversation.
-Detail: The blank may be replaced by virtually anything, but during its original usage was preferably replaced by involved and obscure nonreferences that had progressively less and less to do with the series. Example: “The island is a metaphor for the coefficient of variance in definitions of morality over time as mass media creates a more unified cultural identity.”

Surprise Sex
-Origin: Created on the same mystical, moonshrouded night of Joel's birthday party in June of 2008, this term was coined to bypass the Ustream Chat filter's disapproval of the term 'Rape'. This term was in great demand at the time, which was specifically during the first half of the film They Call Her One-Eye, in which the protaganist (sort of) is raped several times in quick succession in unrelated circumstances by sundry fellows of unfortunate intent. Seriously, that bitch gets raped more than she goes to the goddamn post office, what's up with that?
-Detail: The term can be used as a noun (“Surprise Sex is immoral, beeyatch!”), or a verb (“I want to surprise sex those delicious cupcakes of yours, honey. Your cooking is rapeworthy,”) just like the term it replaces. It has remained popular far longer than “This is _____ in Japan” due to its utilitarian necessity.

Computer Sex/Porn
-Origin: In what is to date possibly the longest sustained Ustream conversation held by Fancy Bastards (with the possible exception of JoelBash '08), several Ustreamers remained in the room for many hours after the Castcast had ended in a strange hybrid of a scheduled cast chat and impromptu Twitter-sourced Ustream chat. During this conversation (which lasted past 4:00AM Eastern US time) the most prominent of several extended topics was the pontification of computer equivalents to sexual and pornographic themes, genres, acts, and orifices.
-Details: The concept is simple, and the most common format is “<1> is/are <2>,”with <1> being a reference to computer technology and <2> being a sexual one. Common examples include: “Firewalls are condoms,” “USB accessories are toys,” “GUI is softcore,” “98 is a MILF,” “LAN parties are orgies,” and “A RAM upgrade is a boob job.” As you can imagine this went on for approximately three hours between less than ten people.

The Realtouch
-Origin: The Realtouch was first introduced to the FB community in the Ustream chatroom before a recording of the podcast when the crew was particularly late. A worthily excited Ustreamer exploded into the chat, sharing the joy that is the Realtouch homepage with all attending Fbs. There was a sharp and sudden drop in chat traffic for a number of minutes as the Ustreamers perused the features and bounty of the device, before returning to soberly consider its merits.
-Detail: The Realtouch is a male sex toy which consists of a plastic tube with two motorized soft-rubber conveyor belts which massage an inserted penis, a realistically contracting entrance, a heating element, and a lube reservoir. This movement is theoretically in sync with the motion represented by a POV video streamed on a nearby computer. There are many videos and models available on the site through pay-per-minute micropayments, and due to the purposefully innocuous nature of the device's orifice it can theoretically simulate oral, anal, or vaginal sex. The site is split into two sections: gay and straight. As such, a customer can simulate sex for himself with either a male or female model. When introduced in the chat, the Realtouch instantly garnered the status of an intrameme on its own intended merits alone. So great was the popularity among Fancy Bastards that there is an FB-created twitter page, the icon of which resembles the rubber face of the distinctive orifice of the device. All tweets relating the personal life of the user are presumed fictional. The Realtouch has yet to be made commercially available, though there is an Email alert list.

Surprise sex: that was me I believe
Computer sex: from what I remember, it was myself Mikebrady, Dram and Arcys that got the ball rolling, the first comment though I couldn't place a finger on
The Realtouch: I think it was Arcy's who found the original site but I could be wrong.

And surprise sex, while funny, is nowhere near novel. I guess he didn't "invent" the term, but he brought it to our attention. That deserves some of, but not all, the credit.
Posted By: YtoabnSurprise Sex is at least 5 years oldSince none of you can pronounce my name (Why-tow-a-bin), why don't you just call me YT.
#thingaboutdicks was from one of the podcasts. It was Joel who said it...

I'm pretty sure I coined "Dick Sunday" yesterday (when it was sunday) at least on twitter - where's it's #dicksunday
You can make a translation and meme it if you'd like ;)
Here ya go While not technically an Intrameme, I figure it's close enough to get linked on this topic.
