Disney buys Marvel

And the internet let's out a collective WTF?
Realize that the more recent planned movies (Iron Man 2, Capt. America, Avengers), are already contracted out, so those won't be affected. But as for the rest, it's kind of unclear. It appears that Disney doesn't plan to really interfere with Marvel at all (which is understandable considering how profitable Marvel movies have been). -
It could be a good thing, since now Marvel has Disney money to work with. If it works that way, I don't really know enough about this stuff, and most of the info has been reported by business sites. When they start quoting stock information, my eyes glaze over and I stop reading.
