Just watched it, wanna give my mini review

    Spoiler Free Version

This has the elements for a great start. I think they've done a great job of carefully choosing characters and occupation so that we'll get a wide variety of views of this event. The flash forward aspect allows them to carefully show little bits of the future so you can constantly guess at where the plot will turn. Definitely watch.

    Spoilers (highlight to read)
I am definitely happy with the way they have varied the flashes forward. It's not all doom and gloom, some of it's happy, some of it's mundane, some of it seems to completely betray who they are. I especially like the cop who didn't have a vision, and quickly reaches the conclusion that he will be dead in 6 months. That was the big one I had thought of. I hope they clear up quickly how large the death toll was, were animals effected (silly question), and that many other governments are looking into similar investigations to what the hell happened. It shouldn't just be a couple of FBI agents.

The show intrigued me enough to get me to the next episode, but not by much. I don't know if I'm gonna see this one all the way through. The show started to bother me when it would reveal something with some subtlety, then completely just say out loud what was just revealed for those who didn't get it. If the show was a little less heavy handed, I would defiantly be on board. Shows that don't spell things out don't make money, I guess... /sigh

My issue was that not only were the "twists" heavy handed, the twists must only be for people who didn't even know the show existed.

    "We all blacked out!" *Ad*
"We all saw the future!" *ad*

This is the basic premise of the book/show. I am well aware.

Yeah it was definitely heavy handed, really distracted me. Some of the flash forwards were interesting but seems like that gimmick is going to wear thin pretty fast. As far as I can tell there are only a few ways this show could end, some Illuminati type organization did it, or God/aliens did it.

I enjoyed the second episode just as much as the first. I like the pace that the show is going at right now, giving us a mystery each episode, then unfolding that mystery by the end, while also slowly moving the overall plot. I don't have much else to say about this, because I feel that it's doing a great job of balancing mystery with answers.

I think I'm done with this show. I find myself being bored and just waiting for the big shocking reveal in the last ten seconds of every episode.
