Was stupid amounts of fun and I am already looking forward to next year, perhaps I'll get a tattoo next time.

Speaking as one of those ladies with the tattoos, (Bela Lugosi lady here), no horrible limb-twisting infection so far. My daughter is doing well too. Just the usual itchy, peeling stage. But that's to be expected. As long as you don't get a tattoo in some dim-lit back-alley with a guy who reuses his needles, you should be fine. Sterile needles = safe tattoo, generally that is :-)

Yeah I figured, with as many people as I saw getting inked, they must have been doing things the right way. Still the idea of getting a tattoo at a comic convention horrified my wife.

Agreed. I had a great time, and I'm really hoping that those responsible for the planning of next year's C2E2 don't mess it up.
