    There is now a "spoiler" button in the quick tags bar. If you click "spoiler" it will paste this string of code:

    Replace "TYPE SPOILER TEXT HERE" with whatever you want. Make sure the post if formatted "Html" and not "Text."

    Now your spoilers will be white on white. The user can highlight to read them.

    Just had the new episode of BSG ruined for me, and I don't want that to happen to anyone else.

    Just updated the post. We have a "spoiler" quick tag now that will spit out a nice little block of code to hide spoilers.

    Suggestion! Something with a black background will allow the reader to know where to start highlighting to read. Also, if the background color of the board changes, this will make sure that spoilers remain unspoiled. Example:


    Spoilers (highlight to read):

    Palpe kills Windu-dore

    For some reason the DIV broke the quicktags so I still had to use tables but it is much easier to read. Thanks!

    A query, what's the time limit on spoilers? I understand doing our best not to spoil currently running shows but with stuff like Buffy, Angel, Firefly isn't the onus on the person who hasn't seen these shows to avoid the spoilers? *Cough* Denise *Cough*

After a week I say it's fair game unless the discussion warrants otherwise (ie everyone is talking about catching up on the Buffy DVD's, then dont post any spoilers without the tag).

    If its a movie, I would use tags for at least a good 3-4 weeks.Artist and Creator of HijiNKS Ensue

    As long as you preface it as "this is my theory" I dont have a problem with it. The one caveat is if your theory reveals a spoiler from a recent episode (ie "I Don't think _________ is really dead!")
