    I wish I could have gone. $25 for 2 hours of staring at awesome weirdos seemed a little steep.

    Yeah that seems a bit expensive. I help run a small Con every year (by small i mean only 1000-1500 congoers) and we only charge $50-$75 for a whole wknd.

    I went to C.A.P.E. because it was free... does that count?

    I've wanted to go to an anime/gaming/nerdy convention for a few years now, but they usually are too far away, too expensive, or conflict with my work. Plus, I never really remember they're happening until the weekend after, as most of my friends don't go and don't help me remember.

    Yes, It's all their fault.

    I left around the time those two were really making the rounds. My fiancee and I were there since around 10:15, and since we drove there that morning we were both pretty tired and hungry. I think we left around... 3? I got my How to Make Webcomics signed and drawn in by Straub and Kurtz, got a bunch of free swag and even bought a thing or two. If i'd have known the original Fancy Bastard was out there, you might have had a worse time at the event :P
