    SO i thought i'd start a thread for all those Browncoats out there. to help you all understand how insanely obsessive i am about our BDH:

    The most recent tattoo i got was the outline of a certain Firefly-class transport ship. so yeah, that's me how bout all of you?

    Jeebus, a Serenity tattoo? That is hardcore. I'm currently nearing the end of possibly the slowest Firefly viewing ever. I introduced a friend to the show ages ago and we've made our way through a few episodes every time I've seen her since, but we only catch up once every couple of months. It takes a serious amount of willpower to avoid saying to hell with it and finishing the series off myself! I can't even remember how it ends.*

    * (Please don't kill me. I'm still a real fan, okay?)

    I marathoned the show in two or three days because I had just bought the Serenity DVD at a discounted price somewhere, and I kind of just... fell off the map while there was still show left to see. My girlfriend got mad about it because 1) I had bothered her for about a month to watch it with me, and she kept saying yes (but never made enough time for one episode) and 2) because I pulled a Gollum.

    Ah... so worth it.

    Yeah, i bought the series box set and knocked it over in two days. Then i spent the next 6 months forcing everyone i knew to watch it, most them of watched it all in one night or over a weekend once they got started.

    i won't kill you at all, i think it's awesome to get someone else into the show, and if you forgot how it ended it'll be shiny all over again for you. in a way i envy that. i pulled an all nighter to watch the whole series. with cigarette and bathroom breaks i think i did it in 18 or 20 hrs. something like that.

    15 Step and I marathoned the series together over a weekend. Of course, it was during our MEGA-SUMMER-OF-WHEDON! Where I got her caught up on the last 4 seasons of Buffy and all 5 seasons of Angel. Good times man. As for the Firefly tattoo, is it the image of the ship that shows after the episodes? Because I have wanted that tattoo FOREVER! I already have my Buffy and Angel related tattoos, so I really need to round out the collection...though maybe I should wait for Dollhouse.

    The first time I saw it, I borrowed the DVDs from my uncle but didnt finish. I completely forgot about for a bit, then saw it on Hulu. God that show rocks. I got my mom into BSG(to the point where she can answer trivia from out local comic shop) but she isn't into Firefly. One out of two aint bad.

    Mad Men's first season just ended and I still can't bring myself to watch it because I'm still mad at AMC for getting rid of Hustle. I did watch Breaking Bad, though.
    Apparently it's the savior of TV. Christina Hendricks looks sexy as hell in '60's clothing.

    "we aim to misbehave!" would be a pretty bodacious cry of battle.

    i've been thinking of getting a firefly tattoo for some time now and i have about half of it cemented in my mind but i can't think of a graphic (totally the wrong word) other than the chinese symbol painted onto serenity. i'm not really a chinese symbol kind of guy (if you are, that's great) so i'm at a loss.

    It's confusing for the first few episodes because it doesn't really bother to explain itself, but once you get into it it's impossible to get out.

    I watched most of it, even though I own the dvds. I find this happens every time they marathon:
    Me: "Oooh! Firefly's on! Well, I could just watch it later...Oh, Objects in Space?! SWEET."
    And then hours of my life I could have spent being productive are given to Joss Whedon once again. Oh, who am I kidding, it's totally worth it.
